Solar System Formation & Dynamics

ASTR 3710 Fall 2013

About ASTR 3710

WELCOME to the web page for ASTR 3710, Solar System Formation and Dynamics. The goal of the course is to provide an upper division introduction to the formation and dynamical evolution of the Solar System and extrasolar planetary systems. From here you can access class notes, homeworks, and links to relevant information elsewhere on the web. The notes will be posted in a blog format, generally a day ahead of the lectures, and I encourage you to read them in advance and ask questions (either in class, or by commenting here). Likewise, the homework tab entries allow comments, and you can ask and answer questions there.

The course syllabus gives further details of the policies for this class.

Of course I also welcome old fashioned questions and comments, by email and by coming to my office hours!
